In our very eyes we have seen how methods, beliefs, value proposition, financial sustainability and influences are changing from time to time. Many of our yesteryears laws and customs are today being subjected to reviews for attendants adaptability. The syllabus of 1980 on food production can not be adaptable to 2023.
My biological Dad told me how in his time, it was so difficult to see a graduate in an entire village or community and a single graduate found among many communities would be celebrated like a King. Today, a man with a PhD degree is struggling for recognition as emphasis is not much about title but the deliverables. The word of God being the wisdom of God warned against being comfortable in your comfort zone. Many still don’t understand what is the best thing to do with comfort zone. Comfort zone should be a transition phase of your life where every opportunities and valuable relationships you have earned over time can translate into a more enduring legacy. Let one success begets another success stories. Keep going, keep moving to stay relevant. I have seen artist become successful politician, I have seen employee become employers of labour, I have seen a musician graduate to holding a record label and studio of his own, I have seen local ministries become owners of universities and business investments. The scripture told me about Jesus ” How God anointed Jesus that he went about doing good”. He was so anointed but never settled rather he kept going and going. You know the danger of staying too long at your comfort zone? The danger is that life has a way of challenging those who are not challenging themselves. I’m sure you don’t want to be sacked before it dawn on you that there is no job security anywhere! I know tenants who talks like landlords in another man’s house. Let me humble such people, Landlords don’t will their house to tenants neither is there an award called the long serving tenants.
Moses was a man who understood the danger of staying too long in a comfort zone. He lived in the Palace of Pharaoh and enjoyed the comfort of the Palace but one thing exemplified him, he knew he was never an Egyptian. He eventually found his path with destiny! Many of us today are also in the assumed Palace of many forms of comforts and we need to come out and do more with our lives. If you see the way some employees brag in their office you will think they own the business but pitiably, they are on salaries.
What to do:
Coming out of comfort zone is non- negotiable.
1. The first step is to see the need for it and desire it.
2. Pray for God’s leading
3. Save your human and financial resources for it
4. Be courageous enough to take bold step
5. Don’t give up in the face of possible discouragements.
6. Key into prophetic decree for timely intervention.
Comfort Zone should be ” Come forth zone”…
You need to come out. All your skills, gifting and clientele is waiting for your manifestation.
Inspite of the temporary comfort the children of Isreal were having in the wilderness, God never intended for them to end their life in the wilderness inspite of the manna and meat, He provided to them. There was a promise land waiting for them! Please do not allow temporary succour, delusioned your vision to think you have arrived. Many live in their uncle mansion and little comfort has made them forget their realities. No matter your level of success today, please let your comfort zone be your stepping stones to your higher grounds. There’s an higher ground o. You ain’t there yet! I’m your prophet, so i know! One day I was to make a local travels by flight and unfortunately most flights were not going to my destination and it took time before I finally flew through another airport to my destination. So I later asked my travel agent that in the circumstance of this nature of no flight what can one do, he said the only exception is people that has their own Aircraft; yea, that’s another level! I know your speaking in tongue is as old as the day you gave your life to christ but let’s be honest in terms of grace and annointing you are still not there yet. There are people who before they declare their desire, their answer is already manifesting!
