You are either foolish or wise and one key indicator is the quality of your reasoning. The force of reasoning is a critical element you dare not throw away except its directive is anti-scripture. Get this clear the use of your brain did not stop at redemption.
The book of Job said I won’t stop at praying, I will also engage the force of reasoning.
Job.13.3 – Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.
Don’t be a believer who live each day just as it comes without proper planning and reasoning out. You should rather give quality time to reasoning. Take quality time to reflect on what is working and what is not working in your life. The brain God gave you is not for decoration. God didn’t create you a dummy whose whole life existence can be on auto pilot.There is bound to be interjections that will be calling for quality reasoning out even as you pray. Adam’s first assignment in the scripture did not require casting out devils, it was an intellectual assignment requiring the use of his mind. He was asked to name all animals! Every Government of the day has a think-tank to reason through or brainstorm on best solutions to prevailing issues in the face of many alternatives.
Jesus in the scripture was confronted by the pharisees who wanted to stone an adulterous woman. Jesus first bent down and was writing on the ground. He was actually reasoning out what best answers to give them and by the time he stood up, his answers could not be questioned. He silenced them. That’s how powerful the force of reasoning is. He neither prayed nor spoke in tongue. He reasoned out solutions. It is important to state here that your reasoning is limited by your exposure and what you fed your mind with over time. For instance, you can not think global when your mindset is local. You can not think rich, when your mindset is poor. The prodigal son got everything wrong but got one thing right…He finally came to his senses. Check the scripture, he didnt pray even though praying is good, he didnt fast, even though fasting is great but he reasoned out his ways.
Luke.15.17 “WHEN HE FINALLY CAME TO HIS SENSES, he said to himself, ‘At home even the hired men have food enough to spare, and here I am, dying of hunger! (NLT)
Stop being religious, there are many issues of concern that will not get resolved unless you come to your senses. A man who spends more than he earns is only sending VIP invitation to poverty, fasting and prayers won’t help him. You can’t say you want to build your business and be a busy body in other people’s matter. You will soon loose the focus require to sustain your business. You can’t be eating sugar everyday and pray off Diabetes. You can’t stop studying and learning new things and not have certification in self grown ignorance. You are smarter than you ever think you are but laziness of the mind is what is constraing you. Ask any of my children in the Lord, if you speak to me, I will ensure I listen very well and diagonize intellectually before I pray. I’m a prophet who will say please send me your proposal or resume before you send it, so I can be sure you are not sending jargons to organisation you are sending to because I understand those organisations have standards that must be met. When you pray and fast on issues, God drops ideas into your mind which requires to be processed and acted upon. You can’t process anything when your reasoning faculty has been ambushed by raw ignorance. It’s like a man who buys a new car and never start the ignition, that car will never leave that spot. This is the way some folks lives are, clueless and non engaging. I prophesy from today you will start engaging the force of reasoning for your next lifting in Jesus name.
