2016 – The Year of the Overflow.

Anchor Scripture : Joel 2:24.

Joel 2:24 -And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil

Amos 3:7 The Lord will do nothing unless he reveals his secrets to His servants the prophets.

The year 2016, prophetically has been declared as our year of the overflow in the King’s Teem Ministry.

The word overflow means to flow over the brim of a receptacle or the excess or surplus not able to be accommodated by an available space.

The word overflow is also a combination of two words, first over and then flow.

Over means to be above

Flow means a steady, continuous stream of something towards a particular direction

From the above definitions of the word overflow, which is our promise for the year, it is clear that the year 2016 will be a very great year for us as individuals / ministry with God’s Goodness flowing towards us in every direction.

God has also promised to make every good thing, not adequate or in short supply in our lives to be in excess, over and above up to a point that with it, we can also be a blessing to others.

Other synonyms for the word overflow are: abundance, enlargement, fullness & running over

We believe God this year that there would be an overflow of favor, grace, strength, financial resources, health and every other blessings that God has in store for us, as ministry and individuals.

For this prophetic word to be fulfilled in our lives, we have our own part to play in order to commit God to make good his own part of the covenant in our lives:

7 steps to overflow:

We must confess, believe that this prophetic word is for us and know it’s absolutely His will to make those things come to pass in our lives.

ISA 46:9-10     

Remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me,

10 declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, my counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purposes.

Ps 23: 5 NIV   — You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows..

Give, and give as prompted by God: Give to God, His work and give to the poor. Givers never lack the flow of God’s blessings in their lives.

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again

Obey God and Seek divine direction in all your affairs this year

Isaiah 48:21

And they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out

We also need to seek divine wisdom but, inside divine direction is also wisdom: for wisdom is doing what He tells and leads you to do per time to excel – Prov.10:8 – the wise in heart will receive commandments, but a prating fool shall fall.

Pray for the overflow

John16:24

²⁴ Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name. Ask and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Rejoice in the Lord always and serve Him:

joel 2:23-24       Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

and the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.

Enlarge your tents: enlarge your capacity to receive: take steps of faith for Big things!

Isa 54:2-3. 2. Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes.

For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

Giving Thanks for the blessings of

Joel 2:26   and ye shall eat in plenty (full), and be satisfied (full), and Praise the name of the Lord your God that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

This year 2016, you shall never be ashamed
