Get this clearly, Isaac who was one of our covenant fathers was although the earthly father of Jacob but very importantly also a spiritual father and the blessing he released on his son was purely on spiritual platform. Isaac was so spiritual he could hear God’s voice for direction whether to go to Egypt or not. In fact at a tender age, he never struggled with his father, Abraham to be used as a sacrificial lamb! This show depth. Isaac is far more than an earthly father but a spiritual father.
The devil knows the importance of spiritual fatherhood so he have his children to herbalist to father. Our political clime is not also exempted as by political configuration you keep hearing how weighty the influence of “Godfatherism ” in the polity has grown in determining who gets what.
Never forget that when David ran away from King Saul, he never mistaken to go to Jesse his earthly father for protection but he ran to Prophet Samuel, his spiritual father.
