Surely the Lord is in this place. I want to give God the glory for the miraculous transformation in my life just a month in this family of Christ.
Just at the start of our fasting and prayer, I applied for a 4 months scholarship program in cybersecurity. I honestly didn’t think I would get it because I usually don’t get things I apply for eventhough I am certain I have the deserving skills. To my surprise I got it and my hope and confidence was renewed, I can finally forge a career path.
Secondly, just close to the end of our fasting and prayer I got a bulk order to make clothes for clients I have never met. My fashion business of 10 years has been on a stand still for the past year now, it has been exhausting and depressing. I am certain that this breakthrough can only be God. I just want to bless His Holy name and thank Him for His love.
Finally I am grateful for this platform: for elevating my spiritual journey especially in my fasting, prayer and worship life, because usually anytime I hear that we should fast like this, the devil will remind me of my skinny-self and what would be left of me but bones if I dare join in fasting. But now, I’m excited for the next fast. I also, always anticipate our 8pm prayer but before I usually find it hard to open my mouth to pray, because when I try, it is just like the list is too long and I don’t know where to start from. But now, I find my else always singing and praying confidently and happily. God is checking off the long list, I have nothing to worry about.
